Privacy Policy
GoPublic Tools is built so that most of what you do on this site never has to leave your browser in the first place. This page explains exactly what we collect, what we don't, and what changes the day we add anything more.
Overview
GoPublic Tools (the "Site") is a set of educational calculators and reference guides for founders and CFOs evaluating OTCQB, OTCQX, and Nasdaq Capital Market listings. The Site has no user accounts, no login, and no persistent user profile of any kind. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing tied to your identity as you use a calculator. This policy describes the small, specific set of data touchpoints that do exist.
No accounts, no sign-in
You cannot create an account on this Site. There is no username, password, session cookie, or stored preference tied to a person. Every visit to a calculator page starts from the same blank state unless you use the "copy link" feature described below, which encodes your inputs into the page URL itself rather than into any account or server record.
Calculator inputs never leave your browser
This is the part worth reading carefully, because it's a real design choice, not boilerplate: every calculator on this Site — the IPO cost estimate, dilution model, public float check, and every requirements checker — runs entirely in JavaScript inside your browser. The numbers you type into a field (target raise, share count, market selection, and so on) are read by client-side code, run against the reference figures in the Site's local data file, and rendered back to you on the same page. None of that input data is transmitted to any server, logged, stored, or sent to a third party. If you close the tab, the calculation is gone. The only way your inputs leave your device at all is if you choose to click "Copy link," which writes your field values into the page's own URL query string so you can save or share that link yourself — we do not receive or store that URL on our end when you do this.
What we log at the server level
Like effectively every website, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages generates standard host-level access logs — the kind any web server produces automatically, covering things like requesting IP address, requested file, timestamp, user agent, and referring URL. We do not run any analytics platform, tracking pixel, tag manager, or third-party script on top of that baseline hosting log today. There are no cookies set for tracking purposes, no fingerprinting, and no cross-site identifiers. Host-level logs exist for operational purposes such as diagnosing outages and detecting abuse, and they are not used to build a profile of individual visitors.
If we add analytics, this policy updates first
If we ever add an analytics tool, tag, or any tracking beyond the baseline host logs described above, we will update this page to name the tool, describe what it collects, and explain any opt-out before it goes live — not after. As of the effective date at the top of this page, no such tool is running on this Site. Zero external requests is a current, verifiable technical fact about how these pages are built: view source on any calculator page and you will find no CDN scripts, no font loaders, and no third-party tags.
The readiness review form
The Readiness Review page collects information you choose to submit — company details, target listing venue, and contact information — so a member of the readiness desk can follow up. That form data is only ever transmitted once a receiving relay (an email address, CRM endpoint, or equivalent intake system) is actually connected on our end. If you submit the form before that relay is wired up, nothing is sent anywhere; the submission simply has no destination yet. We will not silently start forwarding form submissions without updating this policy to describe where they go and who receives them.
No sale of data
We do not sell, rent, or trade any data collected through this Site — host-level logs or readiness-review submissions — to data brokers, advertisers, or any third party. Any information you submit through the readiness-review form is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
Data retention
Because calculator inputs never reach a server, there is nothing for us to retain from your use of any calculator. Host-level access logs are retained only as long as needed for the operational purposes described above and are handled by the underlying hosting provider's standard log-retention practices. Readiness-review submissions, once a relay is connected, are retained only as long as needed to respond to and process your inquiry.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site's functionality changes — most notably if analytics, tracking, or a new data-collection surface is ever added. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the last substantive revision. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy can be directed through the Readiness Review form — note the transmission limitation described above applies to that channel as well.
